Updated: Schools Closed Friday, More Wind News

The school district will notify students and parents by email.

Updated: High Wind Warning Canceled: The National Weather Service has downgraded its high wind warning to a normal wind advisory.  According to the alert, that means 20 to 30 mph winds with gusts of up to 40 mph, instead of 40 mph sustained winds with gusts of up to 58 mph.

The Arcadia announced Thursday afternoon that all public schools within the AUSD will remain closed for a second day, Friday, Dec. 2, because of the ongoing wind storm.

The district said it will notify students and parents via email and text message.
