Lightning Causes Power Outage in Arcadia

More than 50 customers lost power in a blackout caused by lightning, according to Southern California Edison.

Lightning caused a power outage in Arcadia Thursday night that carried on through Friday afternoon as Southern California Edison works to restore power to the 52 customers affected.

The outage began at 6:12 p.m. Thursday and power is expected to be restored by 3:30 p.m. Friday, according to the SCE Outage Center.

"We are in the process of completing repairs," the site states.
