I agree with everything you have said. There is a house across the street from us, purchased lastRead MoreO ct, 1913, and the owner has been absent the entire time except for two weeks (gone now). What is going on with that??? There are two houses directly to the south of that house that will be 'trashed' in May and huge homes will be constructed way out of proportion to what is here now. Our City Council should really take a look at what is going on in Arcadia. I also was raised to save, not to trash. Arcadia is the place to TRASH a nice house that many people might be able to purchase and build a 'monster house' and price it out of their reach. Such a waste.

The last city council meeting was all about praising past members for all the excellent workRead Morewhic h has made Arcadia the wonderful place to live in and how the new members will continue the good work. Has it been good regarding the tear downs of single family homes then the rebuilding of oversized homes ? As I see it, the city coffers and the realtors are the benificieries. Are these monsters to be used by people other than very large families? and why are the homes unoccupied for long periods of time? It appears the Homeowner’s association is on the way out along with what must be drastic changes in the CC&Rs.
