A Kitty and a Cattle Dog Are Looking for Good Homes
Check out our two rescue pets and don't forget about this weekend's event to save bunnies.
We at Patch have just been informed of a great non-profit that could really use your help.
Zooh Corner Rabbit Rescue is a rabbit shelter and rescue organization dedicated to finding homes for these cute bunnies and to save their lives. Currently the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society lets Zooh Corner use some space on their property to house the rabbits. As of May 31 of this year, the SGVHS is asking the current rabbit space to be used for their own cats and dogs, and thus Zooh Corner must vacate by then.
In order to find placement for these rabbits, Zooh Corner is holding a rabbit adoption fair called "Spring a Bunny" at the San Gabriel Petco this Saturday, March 19 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Here you'll be able to learn about the proper care of rabbits, and see if a bunny is the right choice for you.

If you already have a rabbit, Zooh Corner will be giving spa-style bunny grooming for only $15.
Even if you aren't looking to adopt yourself, you can still help the organization by volunteering or donating to ensure as few rabbits as possible have to be euthanized. Come by the San Gabriel Petco this Saturday to learn more.

Brandy, a beautiful, six year-old, Australian Cattle Dog mix is friendly and likes to play. She is good with kids and looking for an active home where she will receive plenty of attention. Brandy knows several commands and earned the coveted Blue Ribbon in PHS's Shelter School program.
The regular dog adoption fee is $120, which includes medical care prior to adoption, spaying or neutering, vaccinations, and a follow-up visit with a participating vet.

Pasadena Humane Society is a private nonprofit animal welfare agency that has contracted with seven area cities, including Arcadia, to provide animal control services.
San Gabriel Valley Humane Society:Meet Lila. She is a rare Orange Tabby female (only 5 percent of Orange Tabbys are females). She's sweet as sugar and her face is angelic. Lila will make the most wonderful companion - she'll give you her undivided attention, lots of love and affection and she'll make you laugh too. She's housetrained and would prefer a household without children. She sits up and begs when she's ready for her dinner, and she'll even eat out of her paw.
The regular cat adoption fee is $99, and includes a spay or neutering, basic FRCP vaccinations, deworming, FIV/FELV/Heartworm test, and a Microchip.
