CHP Officers Arrest Erratic DUI Driver
Driver came close to an officer on the freeway Saturday evening.
A man was behind bars Saturday night, booked on suspicion of DUI after he drove a little too close for comfort to a California Highway Patrol officer on the 210 freeway.
The CHP officer was investigating a solo collision on the westbound 210 Santa Anita Avenue offramp at 6:41 p.m. when the DUI suspect came driving up on the officer at about 100 miles per hour on a flat tire, said Christian Cracraft of the CHP.
The DUI suspect did not get too far and was taken into custody at gunpoint near the offramp.
The suspect was booked at the San Dimas Sheriff's Station. Arrest information was not available.
