Citizens Given Chance to be Part of City Calendar
Emergency preparedness is the new theme, officials said.
From City Staff
City officials are giving citizens the chance to be featured in Arcadia's 2014 calendar.
Officials are looking for fun and amusing images showing how families prepare for emergencies, such as earthquakes, wildfires, windstorms and other situations, officials said.
Examples of such photos could include fun ways in preparing emergency kits, CPR training, preparing an escape plan, or changing smoke detector batteries. Participants are also asked to answer two questions on how they prepare for an emergency.
The deadline to submit is Nov. 11.
