Entry Deadline Nears for Patriotic Festival's Babies and Seniors' Photo Contest
Get free picture taken at Belle 'n Beau Photography before June 15 deadline.
on July 2 will feature a photo contest with a new wrinkle, so to speak.
In addition to the traditional Prettiest Baby Photo, a second grand prize will be awarded for Prettiest Senior Photo. The deadline to submit your entry is June 15.
Babies must be age 1-5; seniors must be at least 65. Entrants must be residents of Arcadia with ID. The winner in each category will receive a $315 family portrait Prestige package (11×14 canvas texture mount and spray) courtesy of Belle ‘n Beau Photography.
Entry photos must be 5x7 shots taken and provided free at , 201 S. First Ave., in Downtown Arcadia. You will have your choice of three 5x7 photos to submit in the contest. Winners will be determined by votes of Festival-goers who get stamps from vendor booths at the street fair.

The free Festival activities, sponsored by non-profit community events group Arcadia’s Best Foundation, begin at 10 a.m. with the first community parade in more than 70 years.
The Festival will feature more than a dozen former Rose Queens and Princesses from 1949-2010 as well as members of the Royal Court from the Arcadia float in the Rose parade through 1998 showcased in a surrey pulled by Clydesdale horses. The parade will also include a classic police car, fire engine and ambulance, a stream of Model A’s and Corvettes, a marching band from , 5,000 years of Chinese history portrayed in 30 costumed walkers, Shriner mini cars, a dozen local dignitaries and citizens of the year, and much more.
10 gourmet food trucks, a car show, street fair, and performances by local music and theater groups and singers are also scheduled for the parade.
