New construction of a new four-story medical building across the street from the Methodist Hospital will be celebrated Tuesday with a groundbreaking ceremony, according to the Arcadia Chamber of Commerce website.
The Hale Medical Center, a 74,360 square foot building will be opened in Spring of 2014, according to the website. Artistic renderings of the project can be viewed on the Chamber of Commerce site.
The project will connect to the hospital via a new pedestrian bridge across the westbound lanes of Huntington Drive.

The groundbreaking ceremony is a public event that takes place 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at 289 W. Huntington Drive. Refreshments will be served.
