L.A. Gas Prices Fall for 18th Straight Day

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County is $3.72, the lowest amount since August 22.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County fell yesterday for the 18th consecutive day, dropping a half-cent to $3.72, the lowest amount since August 22.

The average price is 5.5 cents less than one week ago and 14 cents lower than a month ago but 58.1 cents more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price has dropped 14.6 cents over the past 18 days, including two-tenths of a cent on Sunday.

The cheapest gas in Arcardia can be found at the Arco at 5 West Foothill Boulevard, which is selling regular unleaded for $3.51 per gallon, according to Gas Buddy.

The 18th consecutive daily decline pushed the Orange County average price to its lowest amount since February 25, $3.688.

The Orange County average price dropped six-tenths of a cent today and is 6.8 cents less than one week ago and 14.7 cents lower than a month ago but 55.5 cents more than one year ago.

The Orange County average price has dropped 15.3 cents over the past 18 days, including 1.1 cents on Sunday.
