Photo Gallery: Spring Egg-Stravaganza at Arcadia County Park

Kids of all ages enjoy an Easter celebration with sweetly stuffed eggs.

The City of Arcadia's Recreation Department hosted its annual at Saturday as part of this past weekend's Easter festivities. Within 30 seconds of the buzzer sounding, kids ranging from pre-kindergarten to fifth grade cleared the park of its hundreds of pre-planted neon eggs. To be fair, the park was sectioned off by designated age groups occupying each section, so that kids of similar size and strength could battle for the best eggs. With baskets filled to the brim with brightly colored eggs, many kids gathered in circles on the grass to share and relish in their prizes, while others met up on the monkey bars of the playground, high on sugar and life.
