Wet Weather Ahead For The Week

Local weather forecast for Oct. 7 through Oct. 12.

The week will start off with some warm temperatures and clear skies, but clouds and a chance for rain will quickly move in to the area.

Monday
The day will be sunny with a high near 90 degrees. Some calm winds will breeze by at 5 miles per hour by the afternoon. The breeze will continue into the night, with a low of 55.

Tuesday
Things begin cooling off as the rain continues to arrive. The daytime high will be around 79 degrees. That gentle breeze will be sticking around. There's a chance for drizzle after 11 p.m. and some patchy fog as well. The low will be 56.

Wednesday
The area will see a 40 percent chance for some showers throughout most of the day. The high will be 67. The chance for showers will continue into the night. Skies will be mostly cloudy with a low of around 53 degrees.

Thursday
The chance for showers will continue throughout the day and the high will remain at 68 degrees and some sun will start to peak through the cloud cover. Much of the same for nighttime, with a low of around 53.

Friday
The clouds should dissipate to start the day, with a mild high of 78 degrees. Nighttime should be clear with a low of 55 degrees.
