The has invited artists and artisans to select wood from to create sculptures, furniture, bowls, jewelry and other works of art.
The first of these works — created by 16 students from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena — will be on display Tuesday at the Arboretum.
The students will present their creations beginning at 10 a.m. in the Celebration Garden.
