The third annual New Los Angeles Folk Festival will be held on August 4 at the Zorthian Ranch, according to the event's Facebook page.
The music festival highlights music bands from the emerging folk movement in Los Angeles and featured nearly 30 acts that included Pasadena local Jenny Luna, folk-traditionalist Frank Fairfield, square dancing veterans Triple Chicken Foot and the fuzzy guitars of Stone Darlings.
Details on which bands will attend this year's event, the timing of the event and the price of tickets are not yet available.
The ranch, which is located at the top of Fair Oaks Avenue, was the home of artist Jirayr Zorthian who was reputed to hold wild parties at the location.
