Great Escape: Final Summer Concert in the Park

Come out to Memorial Park in Sierra Madre on Sunday for a free Beatles tribute concert.

It’s a bittersweet time of the year. The end of summer means back to school for the kids and the end of long days and that gorgeous summer sunset.

Don't worry, there's still a perfect way to spend summer's last days in the sun. Take the family to one last outdoor event. Best of all, admission is free.

The City of Sierra Madre is hosting their , which means fun for the whole family.

The concert starts at 6 p.m. and runs to 8 p.m. on Sunday, August 28 at the bandshell in in Sierra Madre.

This final concert will feature The Silver Beatles, Beatles Tribute Band, hosted by the Community and Personnel Services Department.

Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and come early for an ideal spot in the park. You are also welcome to bring cold refreshments and a even a picnic. Or better yet, walk down to the local eateries and pick something up to enjoy while grooving to the music.

Please note that all alcohol is prohibited on the park grounds.

Started in July, this is the final concert of the summer. The Concert in the Park Series is open to all, so bring the neighbors of some out of town friends.
