Video: HBO Releases First Look at Dustin Hoffman Horse-Racing Drama 'Luck'

Arcadia's Santa Anita Park serves as primary location for highly-anticipated drama starring Dustin Hoffman and Nick Nolte.

After months of growing buzz, HBO has finally released a 90 second inside look at its production of the hugely-anticipated .

Created by scribe David Milch and executive produced by Michael Mann (who also directs the pilot), Luck stars Academy Award-winner Dustin Hoffman as Ace Bernstein, an aging organized crime figure recently released from the big house. Heavyweights such as Oscar-nominee Nick Nolte, Dennis Farina, Richard Kind and John Ortiz lend gravitas as supporting players in the star-studded production. Real-life jockeys Gary Stevens and Chantal Sutherland also have key roles in the drama, which still does not have an official premiere date but will likely debut in late 2011. 

In the YouTube clip, , which serves as the primary location for the series, shines on full display as racing action is intercut with interviews with Milch and Mann. Arcadians with keen eyes will also spot , another frequent filming location of the series, in the teaser.
