An overturned car ended up in the front lawn of a home on Sixth Avenue Monday afternoon.
The driver of the car traveling southbound on Sixth apparently lost control of the vehicle, Arcadia Police Officer Steven Castillo said. No other cars were involved and the driver did not need to be transported to the hospital, he said.
Justin Zuniga, 12, and Dylan Noriega, 12, said they were inside the home in the 1600 block of S. Sixth Avenue when the car crashed in the yard. They said they heard a loud noise and rushed outside to discover the vehicle overturned.
The driver had to be helped out of the crumpled car, Noriega said.
