Police: Solo Crash Caused by Medical Issue

Police are finishing up at the scene of a solo crash caused by a medical issue some time after 1 p.m., authorities said Sunday.

The accident happened near the intersection of South Fifth Street and Huntington Drive, said Lieutenant Bob Anderson of Arcadia Police. The truck driven by a man hit a pole near the intersection. The initial call described the driver was possibly having a seizure. Anderson did not know the exact nature of the driver's medical episode.

If the man was transported to an area hospital was not known as officers were still on scene at the time of publication.
