Police Lift Foothills Middle School Lockdown

A bomb threat to a neighboring business prompted the lockdown.

Arcadia police have lifted a lockdown at Foothills Middle School that was prompted by a bomb threat to a nearby Rite Aid.

An unidentified person called in the threat to the Rite Aid at 165 East Foothill Blvd around 10:40 a.m. Police placed the school on lockdown as a precautionary measure, Arcadia Police Lt. Bob Anderson said.

Authorities will continue investigating the call, Anderson said.
