Report: Stronach Wants Meeting with City Leaders After Fallout Over Shops at Santa Anita

Canadian billionaire tells Pasadena Star-News he plans to talk to city leaders about developer Rick Caruso pulling out of outdoor mall project.

The Pasadena Star-News reports that after receiving heavy criticism from Arcadia Council Member Mickey Segal over the dissolution of Rick Caruso’s Shops at Santa Anita project, Santa Anita Park majority owner Frank Stronach plans to meet with Arcadia officials to “clear up whatever has to be cleared up."

City officials, though, tell the Star News that no one from Stronach’s camp has reached out to schedule a meeting or discuss the project’s demise.
