Nominate the Best Burger Place in the San Gabriel Valley

Let us know the best burger places in and around the region so we can put it to a vote and find out which is the Readers’ Choice 2012 winner.

Where can you find the best burger locally?

Patch is relaunching its Readers’ Choice program and we’re asking you, your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers and anyone else who knows about the San Gabriel Valley to nominate the best spots in or near your Patch town. You can pick a business you love from anywhere near your home, from Altadena to Glendora, from La Cañada Flintridge to Diamond Bar. This includes Pasadena as well.

We’ll keep accepting nominations through July 9. After that, nominations will be closed, and we’ll start the voting, so make sure to get in your favorites now.

It’s easy: Just nominate your favorite businesses in the comments below!*

*Because this is a contest, you’ll need to create a Patch login to nominate and
vote!

NOMINATIONS CLOSE JULY 9!

Don’t forget to tell your friends on Facebook, Twitter and email! If you own a business, encourage your customers or friends to nominate you!

All you need to do to nominate a business is to add it in the comments below. If you already see the business you want to nominate, make sure to add your comment about why it should be included, because we may not be able to add all businesses to our poll and we want to make sure the top ones make it into the poll.

Thanks for your participation.

PS: Sign up for the Patch Newsletter to find out when voting starts so you can support your favorite institution in the Readers' Choice contest.

I would definitely have to go with the Dog Haus- they have 2 locations in Pasadena and 1 in Alhambra. There is a burger for everyone there! So delicious, that place never lets me down. All I see is smiles whenever I go there and full bellies :)

Dog Haus in Alhambra is my go to spot for a burger. Order the Juicy Lucy which is 1 or 2 cheese STUFFED patties with carmelized onions, mayo, and Kings Hawaiian sweet rolls as the bun! Don't forget the chili cheese onion rings on the side. Its food fit for a God!

Dog Haus has the BEST burger you could every want. All their burgers come with gourmet toppings and they have a wide variety of toppings you can add to the burgers. They serve the burgers on King Hawaiian bread which makes the burgers ten times more awesome.

The Back Abbey in Claremont is amazing!
Stamford Bridge August 14, 2012 at 09:58 pm
Back Abbey in Claremont is the best burger in So Cal, and I would argue it could compete against any burger in the US. All their ingredients are top of the line and they spare no expense...

Stacked Sandwich <3 Arcadia CA!!!
Elisa August 18, 2012 at 01:33 am
Stacked sandwich has amazing food! They don't mess around either. If you want something delicious, you order, take a seat and watch the pros make magic. This is man food too. No dainty little mini bites. I always leave full with half to take home.

Hi Susan, The graphic shows that in only one year from 2002-2011 were more Hispanics arrested thanRead More Blacks (2011) - if you hover your mouse over each point you can see the raw number of arrests for each group each year. That's despite there being a substantially larger Hispanic population in L.A. County. The data comes from the Dept. of Justice and was reported by the ACLU - and I believe the point of the report is that there is racial profiling going on, not to suggest that black people are using more pot. In fact, the study suggests that there is not significantly more prevalent pot use among any one racial group. The figure 2.6 times as likely refers to blacks vs. whites, as in mentioned in the first sentence of the article, and comes from the ACLU study. Our intention was definitely not sensationalism but rather to direct readers to this national ACLU study that included L.A. County data. Let me know if I can answer any other questions.
