Patch Picks: The Five Most Romantic Restaurants to Spend Valentine's Day

You don't have to go far to enjoy some of the most romantic dinners at special Valentine's Day prices.

Located in Arcadia, The Derby is known for it’s savory steaks and great service. If you want to keep your Valentine’s Day low key but still enjoy a hearty meal with a loved one, this is the spot. The V-Day Menu consists of a selection of favorite items such as lobster, steak, rib eye, sea bass at the regular menu prices. There will be live entertainment starting at 5:30p.m.

A pick, Zugo’s, which used to be called Ugo’s until a trademark issue with a similarly named Culver City restaurant, is an exceptional restaurant no matter what it’s called. Aside from the name change, this Sierra Madre restaurant is the same one patrons have come to love dining at. Zugo’s is the perfect place to have a romantic dinner with the one you love without having to travel far. The restaurant will be opened Monday to offer a prix fixe meal that includes a starter, delicious entrée, dessert and glass of wine for $46 per person. Call to make a reservation, (626) 836-5700

A Pasadena favorite, The Raymond is sure to impress your lovely dinner guest. A special Valentine’s Day menu will be offered Sunday, February 13th and Monday, February 14th. Choose from a three course meal for $55 or a four course for $65. New Zealand organic lamb and Crispy Pork Belly & Bourbon Barrel Aged Maple are just some of the choices offered in this prix fixe dinner. Located at 1250 South Fair Oaks Avenue in Pasadena. One of the San Gabriel’s most romantic hotels won’t disappoint with their restaurant offerings. Nestled in the lovely San Marino neighborhood, choose from The Terrace restaurant’s five course tasting menu with wine for $125 per person whose California-bistro style menu features French-inspired upscale comfort food. If you want to indulge in the fanciest dinner in San Gabriel Valley, make reservations at the newly renovated Royce Room where the romantic setting includes a “red” wine room, “white” wine room and includes a glass-enclosed veranda. 5. Green Street Tavern

Enjoy a very romantic setting off of Pasadena’s quaint and beautiful Green Street. This restaurant, “created for social intimacy,” is the perfect place to go for an evening of food and conversation with your special Valentine.
