Yee Haw! Saddle Up for the Arcadia Police Union's Bicycle Rodeo

The first annual Arcadia Police Officers' Association Bicycle Rodeo kicks off on Saturday.

From the Arcadia Police Department:

The Arcadia Police Officers' Association is hosting its first annual Bicycle Rodeo on Saturday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Camino Grove School.

"The event will be fun-filled for the kids and centered on bicycle safety and awareness," an Arcadia Police Nixle alert states. "This is your chance to get a free bicycle inspection and to register your bike with APD. Bring your bike and helmet with you and join the practices on how to start, stop, look for traffic, safely exit a driveway, and avoid common hazards."

Child participants must be accompanied by an adult. The free event is being held in conjunction with the Arcadia Girls' Softball League Closing Day Festival.

Arcadia firefighters and police officers will also square off in a softball game at 2 p.m.
