Arcadia Festival of Bands

On November 17, 2012, the finest bands in Southern California will compete in the 59th Annual Arcadia Festival of Bands. This prestigious event is hosted by the bands of Arcadia High School, Dana, First Avenue, and Foothills Middle Schools.

City leaders and dignitaries start the parade band review at 8:30am. The Arcadia High School Apache Marching Band steps off at 9:00am on Baldwin Avenue, south of Huntington Drive followed by the Dana Mariner, Foothills Highlander and First Avenue Spartan Marching Bands. 

The percussion competition and band review awards ceremony is held in the afternoon at Salter Stadium on the Arcadia High School campus at 1:45pm.

The evening field show tournament held at Citrus College Stadium in Glendora, begins at 4:30pm, with Arcadia High School’s field show performance at 8:00 pm and a special performance by the Sound of the Southwest Marching Miner Regiment from the University of Texas - El Paso. 

Tickets to the filed show are available at the Citrus College Stadium box office for $10.
