Bible Study from the Ancient Near East Perspective

Looking for a joyful and educational habit for the new year? Be sure to join the Santa Anita Church's own Rev. Gary Foss for the most unique Bible Study classes in the San Gabriel Valley. Gary examines the Scriptures from the standpoint of the ancient Near East, utilizing the translation done by Dr. George M. Lamsa, an Assyrian scholar whose native tongue, Aramaic, was the original language of the Bible.

The Bible is an Eastern book and was written to the people of the Near East. To us in the West, it sometimes seems confusing and contradictory. However, when we look at it through the eyes of the East, the Bible comes alive.

Come and join us in this exciting adventure of love and learning. Classes meet at the Santa Church, located at 226 W Colorado Boulevard, Arcadia 91007, and are free. Classes meet on Thursdays, from 10-11 AM and 7-9 PM in the Chapel, as well as on Sundays from 9-10 AM in the Fireside Room. For more information, please contact Amalia at 626.446.8206 or amalia@santaanitachurch.org.
