Old Pasadena shared the following information about the festive events:
All activities take place on Friday, November 23, from 4:00 to 8:00pm, and are free and open to the public.
Everything kicks off at 4:00pm with Old Pasadena's own Winter Wonderland located on Holly Street between Raymond and Fair Oaks Avenues. Kids can play in 20 tons of real snow, see live reindeer fresh from the North Pole, create festive crafts in the kid's art area, and enjoy live music in this spectacular children's winter playground.
This year’s One Colorado Christmas Tree Lighting will happen Friday Nov. 23 and include a colorful cast of characters to help get Pasadena in the Christmas spirit.
One Colorado shared the following about the event:
The Friendship Baptist Music Ministry will perform seasonal songs and the 2013
Rose Queen and Her Royal Court will assist Santa in lighting One Colorado’s dazzling 35-foot Christmas tree.
After the tree is lit, guests will enjoy complimentary cookies and hot cocoa while Roland & Adriane delight the crowd with mellifluous and melodic ditties.
Santa will stick around for photos in his fancy sleigh. Guests bringing a new, unwrapped toy for the Charles Cherniss Tournament of Toys benefiting children in the San Gabriel Valley will get a free photo (November 23, 6:00pm – 8:00pm only).
Festivities at One Colorado continue through the season with Santa photo sessions (schedule available on One Colorado's Santa Facebook event page).
One Colorado also offers a direct line to Santa so you can let him know, in writing, that you’ve been very good this year. Drop him a letter in Santa’s Mailbox and receive a personal reply.
And songs of comfort and joy will be performed throughout the season by local choirs.
