Darrell Vance of the US Forestry Service will be giving a spell binding talk and power point presentation about “The Stories the San Gabriels Tell” to members and guests of The Arcadia Historical Society at the Lutheran Church of the Cross in Arcadia, Thursday, January 31. Come and learn some fascinating history about our beloved foothills and find out little known facts like who dwelled in our ranges over the centuries, why they were renamed, and for what reasons these geological wonders are so unique – and much more.
