Arcadia PD: Wilderness Park Closed Through July 4 Weekend
Santa Anita Canyon Road may will also be subject to closure during the holiday weekend.
Arcadia's Wilderness Park will be closed from July 3 to July 7 except for scheduled day camp excursions, according to police.
Santa Anita Canyon Road could also be closed off at any time between July 3 and July 6, an Arcadia Police Department Nixle alert states.
"Closure of Santa Anita Canyon Road will be determined based on weather or fire hazard conditions and will be made in cooperation with the Fire Service and cities of Sierra Madre and Arcadia," the alert states.
The department reminds residents that fireworks of all kinds are banned in Arcadia. Police will use special patrols on July 4 to enforce the ban.
