Photos: 'Cinnamon' the Bear Visits Canyon Park

The bear is well-known to Canyon Park volunteers and made an appearance at the park on Sunday.

rangers see one bear so often that they've given her a name.

"We think it's a female and we call her Cinnamon because of her color," wrote Canyon Park volunteer Bob Dollins in a Facebook message.

Though she appears reddish in color, Cinnamon is a California Black Bear, the only species of bear present in the San Gabriel Mountains.
