(Photos) Fallen Arcadia Firefighter Honored With Plaque at IAFF Memorial

A group of 10 motorcyclists comprised of Arcadia firefighters and police officers rode to Colorado Springs, Colo. to see Andy Troncale's plaque unveiled.

Ten peaces officers recently returned from Colorado Spring, Colo., where they saw fallen Arcadia firefighter Capt. Andy Troncale honored at the International Association of Firefighters memorial Sept. 15.

Troncale died of colon cancer on Jan. 23 at age 52. Doctors determined long-time exposure to carcinogens on the job caused Troncale's disease, making him eligible for a memorial plaque alongside other firefighters who died in the line of duty.
