Woman Airlifted From Hermit Falls

A 19-year-old woman was airlifted out of the Hermit Falls area Wednesday afternoon, after she suffered unspecified injuries diving near the waterfalls.

Angeles National Forest officials notified rescuers to the incident around 1:10 p.m. The woman was flown to Huntington Memorial Hospital. The extent of her injuries remain unknown, Lt. William Wicker of the Temple Sheriff's Station said, adding that deputies are at the hospital to complete their incident report.
