A good deed done by two paramedic should be recognized

I was driving north bound on 2nd Ave in Arcadia around 3pm today and saw an elder (Mr. Lee, aged 93) walking down the street with grave difficulties. When I got to Diamond Street, I realized what happened - his electrical wheel chair stalled at the curve.

When I turned around, I saw an ambulance was driving towards Mr. Lee. Mr. Romeo Richardson and Mr. Torrey Clemmons of ProCare Mobile Response were ready to help. They comforted Mr. Lee with the most caring voices, asking if he’s hurt or felt pain. And when one of them keeping Mr. Lee company; the other went down the street to bring back the electrical wheel chair and checked if the wheel chair was still functioning. Mr. Lee was very emotional at that time, but Mr. Richardson and Mr. Clemmons were very considerate and understood how elderly feels at time like this. They gently patted Mr. Lee’s shoulders, told him everything would be fine, no need to worry, they were there to help and would take him home. Although Mr. Lee didn’t quite understand what they were saying (in English), their gestures were warm and comforting.

After they helped Mr. Lee on to gurney, a fire truck came. Fire Captain II, Mr. Tom Devlin and two Firemen (Unfortunately, I didn’t get their names) came and did the same wonderful thing, too. They asked questions to make sure Mr. Lee was fine and aware of the surrounding.

Mr. Richardson and Mr. Clemmons drove Mr. Lee home, carefully rolled him to the back yard and helped him transfer to a chair; then double checked with Mr. Lee again to be sure he was fine, then they left saying they were just doing what is supposed to do.

I wish I had taken some pictures to show these wonderful men.
