5 Burglary Suspects Who Jumped From Moving Car Arrested

Police are not releasing the names of the five suspects arrested after a short pursuit on the 210 freeway.

A short pursuit on the 210 Freeway ended in five arrests Wednesday morning, according to Arcadia police.

At about 10:12 a.m, police attempted to stop a motorist near the 210 between Baldwin Avenue and Michillinda Avenue.  When the driver failed to yield, officers pursued the vehicle onto the westbound 210 freeway.  Authorities said the suspect's vehicle slowed to approximately 15 mph and five occupants jumped from the moving car.  The unoccupied vehicle then rolled into the center median of the 210 just east of Madre Street, Lt. Colleen Flores of the APD said in a released statement.

The five occupants of the vehicle—two adults and three juveniles-- were arrested for evading a police officer, burglary and for possession of burglary tools.  One of the suspects was transported to the hospital for minor injuries, Lt. Flores said.
