7-Eleven Attempted Armed Robbery Suspect May Be in Custody

The unidentified man is also a suspect in a similar robbery that took place in Fontana.

A man suspected of firing a shot into the ceiling of an Arcadia 7-Eleven during a robbery attempt may be in Fontana Police custody.

Arcadia Police Lt. Tom LeVeque said Fontana officers arrested the suspect, along with another man, in connection with a separate robbery that took place in Fontana last week.

"There are similarities in the cases and we believe our suspect is in custody," LeVeque said via e-mail. "We are now looking into our options for the filing of charges, either jointly in San Bernardino County, or a separate filing here in L.A. County."
