Arcadia Police Find 135 Marijuana Plants in Converted Garage
Taken into custody was Tiv Ke Roeung, 40, who was being held without bail on an immigration hold by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency.
A neighbor's tip led to the second marijuana grow in Arcadia in three days, authorities said today.
Arcadia police went to check an indoor marijuana farm in the 500 block of West Huntington Drive about 3 p.m. Monday.
The garage had been converted into a marijuana grow, replete with lighting, ventilation, electrical wiring, irrigation and drying bins under the bottom level of the home, said Arcadia police Lt. Colleen Flores. About 135 marijuana plants were discovered, she said.
