An 18-year-old Arcadia man allegedly attempted to cash a stolen business check written for $40,000.
The Burbank Leader reported that Philip Cooper walked into the Money Mart on West Victory Boulevard in Burbank on Wednesday just before 3 p.m. The newspaper said the check was from Mills Property in Arcadia.
