UPDATE: Dead Man Found at the Bottom of Arcadia Swimming Pool

Investigators are on scene trying to determine how the man ended up at the bottom of a pool in the 700 block of Camino Grove Avenue.

An Arcadia resident discovered the body of a dead man at the bottom of a swimming pool Thursday morning, according to police.

The deceased man was was found at the bottom of a pool in the 700 block of Camino Grove Avenue shortly after 8 a.m., Arcadia Police Sgt. Brian Ortiz said. The home is across the street from Camino Grove Elementary.

Arcadia Police Sgt. Stephen Fallavollita said that the body was discovered after residents at the home found a dog roaming around in their backyard. They did not recognize the man.

"They have no idea who he was," Fallavollita said.

Identification found at the scene indicated that the man was a 35-year-old Arcadia resident, the Pasadena Star-News reports. The man's identity has not yet been released by the Los Angeles County Department of Coroner.

Fallavollita said that at this point detectives do not suspect foul play was involved in the man's death.
