The Traffic Bureau reminds you to celebrate responsibly this holiday season and encourages the use of sober designated drivers. More deaths and injuries are caused by impaired drivers than by violent crimes, including hand guns and knives combined.
Patrol officers will be specifically on the lookout for impaired drivers. The APD will also hold DUI checkpoints at numerous locations within the city during the evening hours Wednesday.
