Home Ransacked, Jewelry Stolen in Residential Burglary Tuesday

A home in the 1000 block of Paloma Drive was "ransacked" during a day-time residential burglary on Monday according to Lt. Mike Castro of the Arcadia Police Department.

So far, the victims have discovered that jewelry was stolen but are still assessing what else might be gone, Castro said.

The crime happened between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday and the suspects made entry through a rear kitchen window, he added.  It appears the window was unlocked because there was no sign of forced entry, according to Castro.
