A home in the 1400 block of San Carlos Road was broken into and ransacked while the home owners are away on vacation, according to Lt. Mike Castro of the Arcadia Police Department.
The burglary was reported by a neighbor who heard the alarm go off and saw flashlights inside the home on Monday night, shortly after 11 p.m, Castro said.
Police arrived and found the rear sliding glass door had been shattered and the home inside ransacked, he added.
The home owners are still on vacation so police do not yet know what was taken in the burglary.
