Lexus Stolen from Arcadia Mall Found Torched in Pasadena

Investigators want to speak with a man, described as a person of interest, who was spotted leaving the scene of the fire.

A Lexus stolen from an Arcadia mall was found ablaze in Pasadena and investigators Sunday want to speak with a man spotted leaving the scene of the fire.

Police and firefighters responded around 8:45 p.m. Saturday to a car fire at the intersection of Del Monte Street and Lincoln Avenue, said Pasadena police Lt. Jason Clawson.

Once the fire was out, it was learned that the Lexus IS250 had been reported stolen earlier in the day from the Westfield Santa Anita mall, where the owner had been shopping, he said.

Investigators want to speak with a man, described as a person of interest, who was spotted leaving the scene of the fire, Clawson said.

He is described as Hispanic, 20-30 years old, 5 feet 11 inches tall with a shaved head and wearing a dark blue hoodie and dark jeans, Clawson said.
