Man Facing Trial After Fatal Shooting in Unincorporated Area near Arcadia

Matthew James Zamora is accused of shooting 24-year-old Joseph Frank Romero to death after a dispute in the 5200 block of Tyler Avenue.

A judge on Tuesday ruled there is sufficient evidence for a 19-year-old accused of fatally shooting another man after a dispute to go to trial, according to the San Gabriel Valley Tribune

According to the report, a preliminary hearing was held in Pasadena Monday and Tuesday for Matthew James Zamora, who is accused of shooting 24-year-old Joseph Frank Romero to death on June 16, 2012 after a dispute in the 5200 block of Tyler Avenue. It is an unincorporated county area bordered by El Monte, Arcadia and Temple City.
