Man Suspect of DUI after Driving on Sparking Rim
Officer spotted the man as he drove by Saturday night.
Arcadia Police arrested a man after he was driving around Saturday night on a completely exposed rim.
The man was eventually arrested in the middle of La Porte Street after stopping in his damaged ride just before 9:30 p.m. The driver, 36-year-old Michael Guerrero, from Arcadia, was booked on suspicion of DUI. Guerrero was issued a citation and released, police said.
An officer on patrol spotted Guerrero driving by. One of the front tires was already shredded off of the car. Officers followed the vehicle as it drove on West La Porte Street approaching Santa Anita Avenue. The driver eventually stopped and was taken into custody, police said.
