Missing, Possibly Suicidal, Man Found

Police have found a possibly suicidal man who went missing for four days and taken him to a local hospital for evaluation.

Officers located Thomas Edward Horn on Wednesday at 9:50 p.m. walking in the 900 block of North Second Avenue on his way to visit a friend.

Horn's daughter reported her father missing Sunday after she received a disturbing e-mail from him.

Horn, 56, had recently been released from an involuntary psychiatric hold. In the e-mail he sent Sunday to his daughter, Horn stated he would not make the mistake of being placed on a psychiatric hold again.

He went on to say he was reaching out in desperation and felt positive he would succeed in killing himself.
