One Arrested After Car Tumbles 100 Feet Over 210 Freeway

Authorities say they don't know if alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.

A car tumbled 100 feet over the 210 Freeway on Saturday.

The crash took place just before 2 a.m. on the eastbound side of the  210 Freeway at an off ramp in the area of Mount Olive Drive. The Dodge Magnum flew over an embankment and landed in some bushes, according to the California Highway Patrol.

sent multiple units to the scene until CHP officers could arrive to take over the crash, Sgt. Don Newton said.

One person reportedly suffered minor injuries in the solo crash. However, the vehicle was significantly damaged. An occupant of the vehicle reportedly refused to cooperate with authorities and was arrested, CHP Spokeswoman Monica Posada said.

She did not have any more details about the suspect, and did not know if alcohol played a factor in the crash.
