Updated: Power Restored Thursday Morning

Southern California Edison officials said the outage affected 594 customers.

Update: David Song of Southern California Edison said that power was restored at 4:48 a.m. Thursday morning.

Original: A power outage has left 594 Arcadia customers in the dark Wednesday.

Southern California Edison spokesperson Lois Pitter Bruce said a damaged underground cable caused the outage, which was reported at 6:10 p.m.

It is unclear when power will be restored.

"Crews are working as quickly and safely as possible," Bruce said.

The outage boundaries are as follows: St. Joseph's to the north, Huntington Drive to the south, San Miguel to the west and First Avenue to the east.
