Arcadia Police Detective Mike Hale arrived by helicopter to deliver presents to sick children at Huntington Memorial Hospital. He then drove a police unit to Hathaway Sycamores Children's Home in Altadena to deliver presents to children there.
Hale is a tactical flight officer with the Foothills Air Support Team, which provides air support services for public safety agencies in various San Gabriel Valley cities.
