Police: Avoid 210 Freeway at Baldwin Avenue
A traffic collision has been causing congestion, according to authorities.
Drivers should stay away from the area of Baldwin Avenue and the 210 Freeway until 7 p.m. because of congestion triggered by a traffic collision, according to a Nixle alert from the Arcadia Police Department.
The alert noted that surrounding surface streets will also be congested, so it suggested taking Santa Anita or Michillinda for those traveling northbound. East-West travelers can take Huntington Drive or Duarte Road, the alert states.
The collision occurred at 5:05 p.m Friday and involved two northbound vehicles, said Lt. Bob Anderson of Arcadia PD. There were no fatalities, but those involved sustained minor-to-moderate injuries, he added.
