Police Investigating Mayflower Ave. Shooting

Police say witnesses reported seeing a white or silver SUV in the area around the time of the incident.

Arcadia police are investigating a Friday night shooting at a home in the 1300 block of Mayflower Avenue.

Lt. Colleen Flores said the home's 38-year-old resident reported hearing two or three loud bangs at approximately 10:50 p.m.

When he went to investigate the noise, he found the front window broken. Four bullets appear to have struck the window, Flores said, but only one of the bullets actually penetrated it. No one was injured in the incident.

Witnesses reported seeing a white or silver SUV in the area around the time of incident. However, there is no evidence at this time linking the SUV to the crime, police said.
