UPDATE, 2:50 p.m.: Police have their suspect in custody and will be clearing the area shortly. The suspect turned up in a yard, officials say.
Original: Residents should stay inside their homes while Arcadia Police search for a vandalism suspect along Colorado Boulevard, officials warned Tuesday afternoon.
The vandalism reportedly took place at East Colorado Boulevard and Joyce Avenue. Police apparently lost track of the suspect, who fled from officers near Colorado Boulevard and Second Avenue.
Officers are searching the suspect along Colorado Boulevard to about Fifth Street and south to the 210 Freeway.
