Police: Officer Probe Doesn't Stem From Public Interaction

The investigation won't become public record until it is finished.

The criminal and internal investigation of two Arcadia police officers does not stem from any interaction with the public, Chief Robert Guthrie and Capt. Paul Foley told the Pasadena Star-News.

The officers — whose names, ranks and other identifying information are being withheld for now — have been on paid leave since March 15, and the department has requested the assistance of the District Attorney's Office in the criminal probe.

Foley told the newspaper the investigation will likely become public record once it is complete.
